Hurricane Idalia tree cleanup continues. The hurricane snapped this tree in half and hung it over the goat house.

We evacuated the goats from the area and started bringing down the trees and large branches (widow makers) hanging in the canopy. This large tree was dangling over the goat house by some grape vines and other trees.

I was able to pull the tree down and tug it a few feet away from the goat house as it fell. There was no damage to the goat house. Thankfully all the goats survived the storm unscathed!

As an unexpected benefit, the goats get to enjoy eating all of the fresh, fallen leaves.
